You can book your pass on our booking page. Our online booking system accepts payment by major credit cards. Rest assured that your credit card details are handled by certified payment processor.

You will receive a confirmation email within 2 hours confirming your purchase. Alternatively, your booking confirmation is available for download after the payment page on our online booking system.

Passes/seats are open for reservation up to 24 hours before departure (subject to availability). However, it is recommended to reserve your pass at least 3 days in advance to ensure that you can get a seat on the route you like for the date you like to travel.

You will be charged a no-show penalty of USD70 in order to reschedule a missed departure. The penalty doubles if no-show occurs more than once.

As long-term travelers ourselves, we know that sometimes things just don’t go according to your plan when you are on the road. Should such situation occur, no-show penalty could be waived and other accommodation could be arranged (e.g. extension of the pass validity, pass transfer to a friend, or re-travel on part of the trip) at our discretion upon receiving relevant proof and/or supporting document.

The following cancellation fees will be charged to cover relevant operational costs incurred in your purchase and refund –

• • • more than 7 days before departure: 20% of the ticket price
    • 3-7 days before departure: 50% of the ticket price
    • less than 48 hours before departure or after departure: 100% charge (i.e. no refund) of the ticket price

Don’t forget that all our passes are valid for one year (from the initial travel date you purchased). While you may need to cancel your trip now, you don’t need to cancel your pass. Instead, simply access your account through Book Now/Login and change the date of your travel.

It is the same as individual booking expect that you enter personal details of both of you/everyone in the group. When you make such group, you will always travel on the same bus, and any changes made to your itinerary will apply to everyone on that booking.

As a cultural experience and a way of giving back to local communities, home lunch at a local family is included on each route. Some routes also visit traditional bakery or cuisine workshop or stop by a market, where you can grab some snacks as you like.

No. You only need to carry all your bags with you when you hop off at a stop where you are spending the night. Otherwise, all you need to take is your camera and other valuable belongings. Your large bags will be securely stored and locked in the bus while you are out there visiting.

For your safety and comfort, disturbing or dangerous behaviors, smoking, alcohol, drugs, illegal substances and animals are prohibited on board.

Minors must travel with a legal guardian at all times for their own safety and there must be at least one legal guardian for every two minors.

According to Georgian legislation, inbound travelers should have travel and health insurance policy valid throughout the territory of Georgia for their entire period of stay in the country. Those without travel insurance may risk refused entry to the country at their sole responsibility.

However, we strongly recommend taking out personal travel insurance that best suits your needs whenever you travel. While all care will be taken, Karavanly will not be held liable for any lost or damaged property, sickness or injury that may occur during your trip in Georgia.
